Incursions

Cockatoo Kindergarten provides regular incursions that reflect the children’s interests and highlight areas where their  knowledge can be extended. Incursions provide the opportunity for the children to experience presentations by experts from various fields who can provide specific information on a wide variety of subject areas. We believe it is important for children to interact with a variety of adults beyond the teaching team in a safe and enjoyable way to promote their self-confidence. During incursions we encourage them to ask questions and share their own knowledge of the particular area of interest.
