Parent Involvement 

At Cockatoo Kindergarten we have an ‘open door’ policy. Which simply means parents are welcome at any time.

We also encourage the involvement of grandparents, extended family members or any other significant adults in your child’s life.

Here are just some ideas of how you can get involved:

-          Parent Roster

-          Working bees

-          Fundraising Events

-          Share your skills with the children; play musical instrument, sew, cooking, craft, woodwork, gardening etc

-          Visit kinder with something of interest to show the children e.g. police car, ambulance, animals etc

-          Attend excursions

-          Attend special events/celebrations
